Well since you asked.......

LOL...seriously....

I don't know of any way except moving the shock mounts. It would take some REALLY short shocks to make it work without moving the mounts or have little to no shock travel which makes my back hurt just thinking about it. I think it'll look great just the way it is and you can save the lowering project for another time......unless......

Pretty sure he just turned the front springs around and used lowering blocks in the rear like the rest of us but he used the HD springs in the front.

I believe that you can use your factory shocks on the front but you will have to move the shock mount or the shocks will bottom out big time. I think you will have the same problem with the rear unless you get a shorter shock or fab new mounts that will be under the lowering blocks like we did.

It's really not a bid deal to do but was probably a better if you had planned it from the start. I will offer this tid bit of advice...if you want it lowered, you better do it now instead of getting it all done and then spending the rest of the time wishing you had done it.

Tons of info in my thread or in Hotcat's or othere's threads about lowering.

I'm going to leave it the way it is Terry. I will like the ride height and don't want to worry about bottoming out issues and stuff like that. Well I got a good amount accomplished this afternoon. Finally got the dang brake pedal return spring on, what a PITA with the floor pans installed. Got the compensator on my new brake cables on. Installed the front leaf springs, stainless axle cover and stainless shock cover. Installed my new tie rod assembly. Changed out my f&r rocker switch and my key switch and did some more wiring. Also installed my new heat sink that way on Tuesday I can mont and wire up this pretty metal box Scotty sent me. I'll post pictures tonight!

Terry I'm still waiting on ideas or tips. I want this thing to be awesome!!

Looks like a stretch plastics dash with the billit rings on it.....

Did you make that crome axle cover and shock cover? Never seen those from any of the aftermarket companies before.

Looking really good and glad to see you managed to get that brake return spring installed. I know they are a pain in the !@#$.

I see you still have the extra hole in the keyswitch plate where the old SOC came out. What's in the plans for filling it?
