Default basic clutch question

I am attempting to put a 13 hp honda in my 2000 club car. I am having trouble wrapping my brain around the idea of a CCW engine working with a clutch that was made for a CW enigine. Will the stock clutches even work?

Thanks for the information. I found some numbers on my stock driven clutch but it wasn't in the same format as the diagram you sent. I put my cart in gear (no engine) and moved the clutch forward and back by hand. The cart moved, so is it just wishful thinking that it should work? Also, what's the worst that could happen. If I put it all together and try it, is there a possibility I will damage something?

See part 8 in pic if your clutch has ramps both ways and plastic wear buttons both ways it will work. if not you will chew things up.

One thing if you are using a driven clutch that came off a CW direction setup
(say a 97 up club car driven with a green spring) you would need to change the spring to the white one for 1984-96 carts. Otherwise it would be wound the wrong way and will upshift WAY to fast.
