Default I inspected my g16 clutch today

OK I checked and all rollers 3 have flat spots. The cart seems to be running fine though. It looks like I need a lot of special tools also. Shop wants $190 + tax to fix it.

Does this need to be fixed ASAP?
I assume I need to take the clutch off the engine?
Is there a kit for this?
How much of a PITA is it to do?
Is there a how to on this somewhere?

Thanks

You will need a puller and a 3 prong spanner wrench to remove the spyder.

you should repair now to save money down the road.
It can be done on the engine but it is tough to do.

Don't be afraid to check a dealer for those more specific parts. Some things are not bad price, though I have a dealer not that far away from me.

I just had the rollers replaced on Friday. He also replaced a grooved secondary sliding sheave and did something to increase torque without replacing the spring. Not sure how this was accomplished.

$138.80 for parts, and 2hr labor. I am pleased with the torque increase, and the rattling noise it had must have had to do with the rollers because it's gone now.
