Re: 11 Club Car Precedent: Project Escalade
Could probably get away with a shackle kit that could easily be made for like $10-15, but it's kind of a half @ss way to do it. Best bet would be the dual rate springs so they are soft with nobody on the back but can still handle the weight of rear passengers. My cart came with the HD rear springs from the factory (when I was told they were dual rate) and I think they are on the stiff side when unloaded. I sure a site sponsor has them and would be able to speak to their performance in more detail.

Re: 11 Club Car Precedent: Project Escalade
Very nice build. Can you post a link to where you purchased the body? Google couldn't come up with anything for RC Champ. At least not for me, anyway. I have a friend who wants to cuild a Bentley bodied cart.

Re: 11 Club Car Precedent: Project Escalade
I am waiting on heavy duty rear leaf springs to raise the rear ride height to remedy rubbing issues. I installed 1" wheel spacers on the front because of rubbing as well . I know i could have gone with a 205 as opposed to a 225 tire to avoid this but i would rather have more of a side wall to protect the rims. I thought that the 1' spacer may be too much and have the tire sticking out but i am happy with the results.
