head lights/ tail lights
I have a 2000 club car 48 volt that I am looking to hook up some lights on. The lights are (front) 12 volt 55 watt halogons. (Rear) are regular 12 volt running lights. Just wanted to see if anybody could help me with the wiring of these into the 48 volt system. Thanks

Re: head lights/ tail lights
easiest thing to do is get a 48 volt recucer than your safe with your hookup, remember elec. cart all grounds go to the neg. side of a battery no grounds on cart frame or anywhere else on cart other than batt. now i know lots of people who run their lights off of 2 batts. 16 volts and get away with it but i would get a reducer........................................... ..

http://www.radicalgolfcarts.com/p_itm.asp?b=&c=&i=1275 this is the one that i put on my cart last summer, it's 25 amp if i recall correctly; and the light kit that i put on draws 5 amps. Holes should already be drilled in the frame of your cart.
