Default decode the JKBMs part numbers?

Is there a cheat sheet to decode the JKBMs part numbers
Some units do cell heating?

Am I correct that that the popular JK-B2A24S20P will do RS485?
Is that protocol shared with mere mortals?

The first 2A is the balance current I.e. 2 amps but some have 6A in that location. Those are 0.6 amps, not 6 amps of balance current.

Then comes the maximum string length. 24S is a maximum of 24 series connected cells.

Then comes the maximum continuous current. 20 is 200A, 15 is 150A 10 is 100A etc.

As for comms, GitHub has a wealth of information. https://github.com/NEEY-electronic/JK/tree/JK-BMS The protocol document is there.

Most helpful, thanks
A few of the Ali vendors try hard to look like they are "official" JKBMS stores.
Summer sale starts in 2 days ...

When I looked on AliExpress JK BMS prices were all over the place so the big question is who do you trust buying from? I took Pat911ís advice and bought directly from the JK store and have not had a problem yet. Good customer service and they respond to questions promptly.

I see:
1- JKBMS Factory store 1103471095
2- JIKONG BMS Factory Outlet Store 1102801290
3 JKBS Official store 1103277205

ignoring the others....

Can someone point me to the real one(s)

This is the one I use, the JKBMS factory store.

https://www.aliexpress.com/store/110...bestmatch_sort

Although Iíve also purchased from the Hankzor store.
