Default Tie Rod Separator?

Yesterday my son and I installed a RHOX 3” drop spindle lift kit on our 2005 TXT We found the hard way that an 11/16” Automotive tie rod separator was too wide. It literally popped the ball/stud out of the tie rod end. Ended up having to buy an entire tie rod assembly because the local store did not have just tie rod ends. Is the a golf cart specific tie rod end pickle tool out there in case we need to do front end work at a later date?

If you don’t have the tool you can always thread the nut on a little and hit it loose with a hammer. Worst case scenario you need another nut

To add to cartsnfarts comment, I support under the attaching arm with a wood block or jack stand and use a brass/bronze hammer. Another thing that works is hitting the side of the attaching arm with a ball peen hammer.
