clone exhaust pipe size
What's the smallest diameter of exhaust pipe can I get away with using on my bone stock clone? Thanks

Most use 1" on performance maybe larger on big cam, so I would think maybe 7/8 ID at the minimum for stock. You can put 3/4 on it, but at some point you may as well of put a stock or other smaller engine in. It may overheat the exhaust valve at some point.

I would try the stocker first, might be quiet enough for you. Although you might get some fumes? If you aren't worried too much about adding performance, lots of guys have done well with the stock muffler. I went with the 1.25" header, just because I knew I was eventually going to modify this beast.
