Re: Ordered my lift kit from BU Need instructions
It's a public danger. I honestly cannot stress enough how important it is to cancel that order. $10 may stand between you're life or your death. Go for Cart Parts Plus.
CPP's is a real All-Sports lift. BU's is something Jacob Lowry (or whoever they can find on the streets) is tack welding together while on the john during their pool/snack/**** up order break. |

I have to agree, I would cancel that order as well. You might have it installed before BU would have even shipped it. Most importantly, you'll get a quality product. It is worth the extra money.

Re: Ordered my lift kit from BU Need instructions
My BU A ARM was rewelded by the guy that put my front brakes on. He said it looked like a 10 year old Mexican kid did it at lunch. I then had it power coated. It looks now.
Like I said before, cancel the order and get a reliable one. |

Re: Ordered my lift kit from BU Need instructions
OK OK OK OK............... I just ordered a lift from Carts + +. It was only about 50.00+shipping more. I cannot cancell the order from BU, Till the 24th. I am building this for my Mom, she only weighs 100lbs soak and wet!!! I'd hate for her to get hurt on a bad lift!!

Re: Ordered my lift kit from BU Need instructions
I do not mean to be rude, but get money off your brain when dealing with vital suspension components.
YES! It does make a difference that it will never leave a gravel road. Those lifts are so shoddy that just washboard in the gravel could cause it to fail. The money you save on a BU product will later help out with hospital bills. I'm not sure if you saw this link when I posted it before, so here you go: http://www.cartpartsplus.com/club-ca...e-package.html It's only $10 more (which will probably be saved in shipping. BU shipping is pricey) and has better tires. The X-tread tires are OK, but they pack with mud. The Duro tires also fill with mud, but they are EXCELLENT on-road tires. The X-treads are like driving a bias ply that's been sitting for 25 years. |

Re: Ordered my lift kit from BU Need instructions
Actually the shipping between the 2 companies was very close. I got the lift and flip down back seat from BU shipped for 100.00. The lift alone from CPP was over 80 by itself........ So not a huge difference.

Re: Ordered my lift kit from BU Need instructions
But Tom's lift is not going to kill you.
I am not going to try to convince you that safety is more important than money anymore. Go ahead, buy the BU. In fact, buy a few because you're going to be needing them quite often. |
