Default 95 compression on 01 g16

Is 95 a low compression on a 01 g16? Having power loss up hill and tested the compression, it was an average of 95. Where do I begin to get the compression issue fixed and should I check clutches for repair or replacement also? I have a 6” lift and 22” tires on it. My intentions for this cart is to be able to ride in our woods on an off season snowmobile trail. There are a few hills that I use to be able to get up no problem. I’ve added some other parts and accessories to this cart and like to keep it but it’s just not performing like it use to.

Thanks in advance for any repair or performance upgrade information

Yep, 95 is low. Are you checking at WOT? Plowmans is your best bet for clutches and performance upgrades.

Check again making sure you hold the throttle wide open.

If 95 is correct try adjusting the valves and check it again

Thanks I’ll be checking into plowmanscarts when I need parts. I am checking at wide open. The cart seems to rev high then rev low wile wide open ? I guess the valves are my first check

Yes, adjusting the valves is quick, easy, and FREE. Always check that, then test the compression again. You have no idea how many machines I've brought home with low or no compression, just to adjust the valves and have a perfectly running motor
