Default Batteries boil

Bought a 48 volt club car precedent last night and plugged in the charger when i woke up this morning it was finished so just wanted to top off the charge by plugin it back in.. went to check on it 45 min later and could hear the batteries boiling/ bubbling is this normal the charger was reading 1/2 way on the needle straight up . And the batteries are full of water.

you dont want your batteries full to the top with water, just about 1/8 to 1/2 inch over the plate inside or they will bubble up and out of the top causing damage to frame and your floor. Boiling and bubbling is normal during a charge cycle but you don't need to plug charger back in after a full charge cycle is complete...Your OBC (On Board Computer) has already determined batteries are at the state of charge they should be.
