Default Different key

So I keep my cart down at my beach place and when I am not there I secure it the best that I can ie: IN a locked area as well as a secure chain, however I just dumped a ton of money in it upgrading it so I want to take the extra step if we drive it somewhere that I am unable to chain it up etc.... I am looking for a NON STANDARD KEY/ignition. I have looked on all the popular sites with the only one coming up is the standard one that everyone has the same key to...... 2003 EZGO TXT 36 volt Any help would be appreciated

I've heard of folks using Harley ignitions. Anything with a key switch will work. Search for kill switch. There's a post with several good ways to install a kill switch to help deter theft.

Install a cigarette lighter......

Best sneaky way to immobilize your cart is to use a cigarette lighter as an inline switch so your cart will only go when the lighter is pushed in thus completing the switch. And when your parked just take the lighter with you...

Another option is to hide somewhere on the cart an inline switch that cuts power. Hide it under the dash, seat, bumper etc......
