Default ATV front suspension?

I have a 92 marathon, and am new to the cart scene.
Has anyone adapted the front frame section of an atv to a cart to get the independent suspension and front brakes?
I see all these long travel suspension kits available, but dont really want to sink $800 or more in a suspension for a cart that costs half of that.
Thanks

I installed a Raptor 660 front under this one, I widened it 6 inches, I have plenty of pics of the whole thing in my other posts. I also put a Kawasaki Bayou 300 front frame clip under an EZGO, there is pics of it in my posts too.

Has anyone made the quad breaks work with the gold cart break pedal?

yeah, there are a couple of build threads on here showing how to, all you are doing is replacing the hand lever with a foot pedal

I remember someone was saying that they had a banchee front and they thought the springs were too hard even on the lowest setting. I don't know first hand, but if thats true a blaster might be perfect... Golf cart front ends are surprisingly light, and very similar to a quad. Are they adjustable? That will give you some room to work.
turnagainhardcore - good point. I will look for those posts. If you can get front breaks it will be worth it. If you make your golf cart go fast you will want more stopping power.

Yes if I were to put on ATV suspention I would make sure to keep all A-arms, factory geomitry, and shocks they had engineers working on that stuff, i will trust that they put more time into thinking it through then i did.
