Default 1206AC-5201 controller question

Just a quick question. Can anyone advise if I can use my OEM curtis 1313 handheld on an AC drive Cushman Hauler with 1206AC-5201 controller ( FLA batteries ). I have to go visit my son with a troublesome machine but he says he cant see a socket on the controller but it looks like there is one in the harness near it. I dont really wish to make the trip and end up ruining my handheld

I only ask as i understand the latest AC drive club cars use a different diagnostic device and wonder if this may be similar to the EZGO platform carts.

That should work, look for a 4 pin connector under the seat, its part of the wiring harness and not a socket directly on the controller.

Check the wire colors on the 4 pin socket. If yellow, green, purple and orange that should be the diagnostic port.. What year is the cart? Around mid 2018 is when they changed how it works.

If it is the 72 volt version they can be tuned up to be a real beast with the developer software.

Frayed knot, its 48 volt added problem is the charger has failed. Yes, it's the infamous Quiq charger. Luckily I have a spare!

Your handheld should work fine to troubleshoot.

I just sent in my QuiQ 922-4852-E6 to be repaired by FSIP.

It might be cheaper to buy a new one than ship and return from the UK 😆
