Default Crashed 2016 yamaha drive, bent front frame, need help

My son wrecked our 2016 yamaha drive, it bent the front frame on the passenger side. I and going to try and straighten it the best I can but what are some options on other options? Also looking for a place to buy OEM parts for it.

Automotive body & frame shop to pull it straight or to cut it out & weld a new piece in

Story, yes X2. And, hoping 1) nobody was hurt, and 2) son gets to learn something?

My 9 year old son has been driving my other golf cart for a while and I felt good letting him go down the street by himself, sold that cart and bought this one 2 days ago and he went downt the street with my daughter in the passenger side turned around coming back into the sun, wasnt looking at the road because he was telling my daughter someting and bam, parked truck. Both kids are ok, just some scratches. Thank God, could have been way worse.

I agree with an auto body shop pulling the frame straight. Before I'd break it down to the bare frame, I'd call a few shops to see if they can do it and if they can give you a ball-park quote.

Only had it 2 days before the wreck??? Man, that sucks but glad everyone is okay.

Glad those kids are ok!!

I had a similar experience years ago with a G9. My son and his friend (11 years old) ran the G9 almost full speed head on into a tree. Sounded like a bomb went off. My daughter was racing them on a 4 wheeler and they lost sight because of all the dust. It threw both kids over the front (how they missed hitting the tree was a miracle, one went right of the tree and one went left), bent/crushed the front frame, broke out the steering column completely out, and basically totaled the front end. Had to get the tractor with the front end loaded to haul it off. Both kids ended up with bloody noses and several cuts and bruises only. I said several thank you prayers!

Yikes. These carts are not toys apparently. Glad they are ok. If you can straighten what you can and cut out and weld in replacement steel in the places you can’t straighten, the rest is all just replacement parts. Roof, roof struts, from cowl, tire/rim, spindle etc. it will be way cheaper than buying another cart for sure.
