need new shocks now

Put in heavy duty springs to replay my club car single leafs, now my stock shocks are too short by about 2 1/4". These are not intended to be lift springs but do provide some lift. What shocks are recommended or brackets?

Forgot to mention that measurement is with out the batteries in.

I'll second no shocks. I have a 6 inch lifted cart with no shocks all around and it seems to do just fine. Eaarly carts didn't have them from the factory.

Only draw back from no shock is too much bounce...the shock acts as a damper....it is easy to go to Napa or ? and have them match up a shock for your needs ie: travel & mounts...I have done it several times.

Check with Tom @ Cart Parts Plus... he may have shock extentions...
They came with the Super Sport 7.5 lift... he may be able to get them seperately!

Have you thought of a thread conector nut, and the threaded rod to fill the space? They com in standard thread size, and could allow for this to work at minimal cost of about $5.00.

Yep... "All Thread" connectors may work...
but, I had thought that the threads on the shocks were metric,
It may be hard to find metric "All Thread"...
But, I could be wrong!

Wait until you load the batteries in, 400 pounds of batteries will settle those new springs... Once the batteries are in, have a buddy stand on the back of the cart, I'll bet the shocks will mount back up just fine..
