Yes, I use the 1.5 oz per gallon like HD recom0mends. More oil just seems to smoke more. I even tried some motorcycle oil that claimed to be less smoke. Stay with 1.5 oz. per gallon.

I use Walmart Supertech There are better oils but the HD engine does fantastic on the Walmart 2 cycle oil. It is inexpensive and I use it by the gallon!

For 65 thru 68 utili-cars, Harley recommended 5 oz per gallon of gas!
They also noted that was the mixture for any non-governed car. |
