Default 2011 DS New bushings install upper clevis Delta a plate install

So I replaced the bushings and pins on my DS, Having major trouble installing the clevis, it just won't go on with the uncompressed new bushings. Is there a "secret" on how to install it other than bending the clevis ears out a bit?
