Default ezgo 2002 convert from gas to 48v electric

can it be done if so, can it be done in a cost effictive way.

Generally this is a bad idea because the costs and work involved exceed the value. Generally it is recommended that you sell one type and buy the other. Especially ion your case where the gas is valued higher than the electric........

I'll trade ya your gas cart for one of my electrics... I need a gasser for use on my remote mountain property (no electricity to charge the electric). :)

I am looking at getting an older gas cart for real cheap, but I would like to convert it to electric. Would I still be better off getting an electric cart? My only thing about buying a used electric is you don't know about the motor or batteries. This would be a new motor and batteries. I would probably go with lithium batteries too. Any suggestions?
