Charging after resetting OBC
I just changed some wiring on my cart. I had the batteries disconnected for about 20 min, and performed an OBC reset. Prior to disconnecting the batteries, they were full. My question is: since the OBC was reset and has no history, will plugging the cart back in overcharge the batteries or is it smart enough to know they are topped off. I did not plug the charger in yet.

Re: Charging after resetting OBC
Neither, the OBC will use an algorithm called dV/dT.
After the second charging cycle if the OBC analysis match what the dV/dT algorithm did, it will then switch to the Energy Counting method. |

Re: Charging after resetting OBC
Sometimes as high as 66v, but as you noticed the current is so low that very little energy is being returned to the batteries at that point.
