Default Crossed wires while changing batteries

While I was making the last couple of battery conections after replacing my batteries one of the leads touched a battery post. Now the cart will not operate. Everything that is 12v is working correctly and the voltage indicator is working. Any help in what to start troubleshooting??

Look for fuses. You may have killed the controller. They don't take kindly to wrong voltages applied to them.

What's the vehicle serial number? Let's start there. There are multiple drive systems and they're all affected differently by this type of short.

I don't have the serial number with me, I'm out of town. It is a 2007 transporter 4. I'll get serial number tonight.

Here is the serial number. I figured out what I did. The picture of the batteries is on the right side under the rear seat. The 2 connectors that I have circled where hooked up backwards. And help would be very appreciated!

That is as bad as it gets. You put full reverse voltage on your controller.

The serial number indicates a 2009 cart but the picture shows 6v batteries. Are there 8/6v batteries in this cart? It is possible you have blown the micro switch(es) and not the controller.

Yes, 8 six volt batteries. Which micro switches? Where are they located?
Thanks!
