Default Kawasaki FJ400 13 hp swap

Has anyone here looked into swapping their old 295cc 4 stroke Robin engine for a Kawasaki 13 hp 401cc? Also, will it fit right into a 2006 EZGO TXT without any "big" modifications?

I think for the money it would take I would go BB myself. I am not really impressed all that much with the kaw anyway. Having that big of a jump in hp it should perform better to me.

I thought it was a pretty big improvement from the older 295, 350?

I have personally ridden in a BB installation and it was second to none. Like big red said, the BB forum may be able to help you on the kaw but the BB is a complete bolt in installation. It's easy and the returns are awesome. Whichever way ya go let us know and send some pic's on that build!! Good Luck!!

Hello

Are you sure?
The cilinder from a Honda has to point backwart!
Cince, as far as i know, a Kawa has the same configuration the clutch is on the same side.
Thats the reason a Sub 350 fits on my racekart too.(See avatar)
Yust like a GX390 does.
