Default Taking the plunge - Yamaha G2 + 2002 Busa

Hey Everyone,

I know these builds get started and usually don't get finished. I have a customer that brought us a Yamaha G2 and a donor 2002 Busa engine/electronics and wants us to put it all together.

Does anyone have some good rear end and engine mounting pictures? I've gone through this section a bit but good shots of rear ends and engine mounting still seem to be somewhat scarce.

See attached picture...Anyone know where the build thread is for this buggie?

Thanks

I built it about 10 years ago, has a 2004 Honda CBR 1000RR engine, Mini Sprint rear axle stuff, Raptor 660 front suspension, built for Drag Racing straight line, it didn't corner well unless you were drifting it.

Is the steering issues caused by the straight axle or the wide rear tires, or both? Still looking for info for mine too [emoji23]

Rear suspension is built on a Swing Arm so no side to side movement only up and down. It would steer fine but if you steered into a corner fast the outside front would compress and the inside rear would lift off traction.
