Now have rear bucket wiring done. Not shown in the pic, but all loomed up now. Got turn sigs, brake, backup and tail. Now I move to the front...

Have an interesting outcome related to my fancy turn signal switch.
The headlight hi/lo doesn't exist beyond the stalk switch. Bummer. All other functions work, including 4 way flashers, brake switch override, and horn. The light switch turns on the lights , but only one function. Has park and driving lights, but same output in either position. The turn sigs have 2 front output (L and R), and two rear outputs (L,
R, and brake override. Works sorta funky in that it overrides the turn signal. Both brakes lights come on when brake switch closes. Anyway, all plug pins are functioning and that's that. There are several blank switch outputs, but nothing wired. So I've installed a floor stomp switch that will give hi/lo. Problem solved. Might add another headlight switch so the park lights will operate without the headlights.
The turn sig unit looks nice, but it ain't what it seems.
Including a pic of my front disc setup. Had to get both ends to work together. The rear brakes are oil bath (wet brakes) so once set, don't require much attention. The fronts are self adjusting.
That nest of wiring will be cleaned up soon as the bus arrives.

This subject might need a new thread, but, looking for ideas on splash proofing the center of the panel backside.
Considering what was in there when I began this project, the factory baffle was about useless.
Thinking about super stick and automotive door plastic. It's tough, easy to work with, cheap, and durable. And it can be peeled off and stuck back on. With the guages and radio, don't want a lot of wet crap or dust in that area.
All ideas welcomed!

You could use blue skin super sticky. They use it on basements before the back fill or to stop leaks on the out side very sticky just leave the plastic on the center part. Or you could use sound deadener for auto motive. Its very stick sold in differnt size rolls.

Thanks for the input. Never heard of "blue skin" but off to sort it out.

Front body's gotta bump in it. Reckon it can be shrunk back with a heat gun? If it'll get below the normal lines it becomes fillable. Maybe glass a piece of plywood onto the under side? No telling how the bump got there. The cart was apart when it was given to me.
What are the plastic parts made of? ABS?

Well. I've created the look of a 1930s Ukranian farm implement. Butt ugly.
The lights work great but look like...bad.Need a bumper or brush guard.
I think. Tried the lights in the center...still ugly.
About done with the electrics. I have access to motorcycle dealer plates and that's the reason for all the street legal crap. I can noodle around if I want in some areas that don't allow gas golf carts. Such as electric only CGs. Oh well.

Well, it is certainly coming along now. Only thing that concerns me, although i am sure you have thought about it, i would like to see some sort of grill over that radiator, it is just asking for a bump to mess it up LOL.

Amen on a bumper. The radiator in the pic is an old item. Had a rough life. I have a new rad, but afraid of damage to it until some sort of brush guard or bumper is created. I have the Kaw OEM guard, but it sits way out front. May cut the top mounts off and see what can be done with that. Installed a mostly prewired fuse block and switch panel. Haven't let the smoke out of anything yet!

OK. So we have the bumper covered. Jakes 6275? Will have to weld some tabs on for lights and lower struts to protect the radiator. I'm hoping the round lights will fit into the lower loop. If not...something else will. The lights are seriously cheap Chinee. Have standard bulbs tho. I'll have the bumper Friday and then sort out. The wrap around brush guard will be easy to mount. That said, I've gone to a lot of trouble to make the front body removable. It ain't gonna be "easy" once the top is back on...and the bumper..and windshield...
