Sorry for the confusion. I forgot the word cart . I wanted a NEW Garia Cart.

The Garia has the charger, controller and computer completely integrated on the Lith Carts.

Its ok, I got so confused from your replies, I figured you thought you were talking with someone else

I read you got 34+/-mph out of yours so thought that was done with re-programming. I'd be thrilled with 30.

Do you know anything about the garia carts? I'm trying to do an aftermarket lithium I've done them in ezgos but seems like this could be different since the inverter and charger is all built into one. I was thinking I could get a different charger and just use the inverter that's built in.

I contacted the engineering dept at Garia. They said I could not add a Lith pack on my 2011 2+2. So I still have Lead Acid. The display even says in the battery settings: Lead Acid, AGM or Lith. Kind of thru me for a loop. Anyway if you have any success please post back.

Cheers

I tried contacting them today and they wouldn't tell me anything just to take it to the local dealer and they could handle it and answer all my questions. The only thing I could see is the charger not working being that it's made for lead acid and it's a 48v 18amp which would be a lot for a lithium. Other than that I feel like voltage is voltage so why wouldn't it work. As long as the batteries can handle the load and amperage unless it's Regen braking but I've seen ezgo and club car with it and work

It's a liability issue, no manufacturer is going to advise you on how to modify their vehicle with aftermarket components.

That said, of course you can lithium swap the vehicle.
As you pointed out, you need a battery that meets the required voltage and current draw and charge (regen) limits of the vehicle.
You also need a charger that will properly charge the lithium battery without exceeding the voltage limits.

After that, you will want to fine tune the vehicle to work with your new battery. This includes undervoltage and overvoltage cutback protections.
