Lift is on the way, advice on wheel spacers...?
Hello,
I have a G2 and just ordered an Allsports 7" lift and wheels and tires. I am exicted for them to get here next week. I got some 23" tires and "DLCAIN" is going to send me some goodies he used on his cart to get me higher. I wanted to ask you guys about wheel spacers. #1 Where is the most reasonable place to buy them? Link please... #2 What size do you think I should go with for my combo keeping in mind driveability and looks. My cart will be used on the course and streets and maybe some easy dirt roads. I will not beat it up hard on trails. #3 Do I need spacers for both the front and back? Any pictures of peoples setups with spacers would be cool. Before and after pics would be good too. Thanks, can't wait to get started and post some pictures! Jeff |

Re: Lift is on the way, advice on wheel spacers...?
I did not run spacers on my original 8" lifted Club Car but the 12" diameter wheels with 25/10-12 AT489's stuck out about 30% in the back and about 50% in the front. Cart worked and handled fine.
Your experience may be different based on the wheel offset you bought and tire clearance but I'd wait and see before I bought. That being said, I just bought a used set (originally bought from Buggies Unlimited) of 2" spacers for the back of my rebuild.....I looked at ebay and there are some cheaper sets being sold as billet that come in pairs for about the single Buggies Unlimited price. You could also try the guys at Golf Cart King (877) 960-5464 they will match or beat prices if you ask. Regards, Gary |

If your not planning to beat the cart hard I would suggest lug extenders. They are cheaper than spacers and I have used several sets on carts with no problems. Street carts but not suggested for off roading hard driving carts just street.

Great, thanks for the replies. I guess I will have to see what the setup looks like.

The best deal I could find on wheel spacers was on Ebay from a seller named Summit Engineering. Very high quality, and very reasonable.

I bought a set from the same seller. They were great and cost about $60.00 per set of 2.
