Good job on the bender!!
Thanks it was fun to build, 90 is all I need for now. I do have a 180 degree die but this bender was kind of purpose built for this roll cage. If I ever decide I need more of a bend I may have to build it different. I have a friend that works at a steel supplier so I can get the steel at cost or free from drop off. This bender cost me $16.

Thats just for the steel. The dies cost me $180 and I had the jack and the other stuff needed. When I am all done with it and I may never be, I may sell the dies and get my money back out of them. Not sure yet.

Once you create the tube you want in the JD2 software, how do you change the angles of the bends? for instance, if I want a 45 degree on one bend but a 90 on the other?

With this program you dont tell it the angle you want. You measure from point to point and it calculates the angle for you. The only way to change the angle is to change your dimensions.

My roll cage is almost done. I think. I may add some oh sh!t handles yet but not sure. I have a lot more winter left yet so I may make some more changes. I still have to make a new overhead stereo console because my old one wont fit.
