Ezgo Big block swap, EFI? Duromax 999cc?
I'm putting bigger tires on my cart so i'm looking at engine options currently. The Duromax 999cc, Honda or Kohler efi models caught my attention. I know the shaft size on the 999cc is 1-7/16, has anyone had any success with that engine.
As far as the efi models, I was thinking they would run pretty efficiently vs Carb models. My biggest concern is noise in my neighborhood. Should I not venture outside of the box and just be happy with a predator 22hp swap to make it easier? Thanks! Cart is a 2012 ST express 6 seater |

Red Beard's garage did a build on one on youtube. Besides its physical size the clutch needs to be done.

I saw that video, looked awesome. I saw comet has a clutch that will fit that shaft, but the belt width is slightly larger.

Do all those engines have a sufficient charging amp coil?
The Duromax is very tall engine and I ruled it out when doing my swap |
