Default Changing controller question?

I have a 95 ez go Medalist with what I think is stock controller. (see pic)

It came with this other controller (see pic) and I am not sure if it would be an upgrade to speed and torque or not. I also dont know if it is good(working) or how to convert to the different wiring.

Help would be appreciated, Thanks.

Default Re: Changing controller question?

you have a SERIES cart (based on pic of controller installed in cart) the OTHER controller is a SEPEX (PDS) controller.....two totally different drive systems, so NO that extra controller will not work in your cart.

Both of those controllers are stock. The one in the cart is a series as stated and the other is for a PDS. Even if it where a series controller it wouldn't be a upgrade. They are both 275amp controller. You will be much better off buy a aftermarket controller in the 400-500 amp range.
