Default 94 EZGO Controller Recommendation

Hi all!

I’m helping a guy replace a few things in his 94 EZGO (appears to be a medalist).

It currently has a Curtis 1205-101 in it that needs to be replaced. Would anyone like to recommend a reasonable replacement?

He is essentially rebuilding his cart for his kids to drive around their flat ground.

Thanks in advance!

Use the Alltrax SR48400 -0-5k Controller. Can be used with everything else stock in the cart.

Can you verify the pins will match with that I have?

Here is a link to the exact one I have:
https://www.golframa.com/search/?s=G534H&t=1

It has your 4 large connections as well as the three on the side.

Here are the only connections on the current controller:
J1-J3
B-
B+
M-
A2

Nobody uses the 4 large terminal controller any more. They have been phased out because the A2 function burned the controllers up.

The conversion from 4 to 3 big terminals is simple. You can do this to any 4 terminal control.
Remove the 2 cables connected to controller A2 and bolt them together in mid air creating one cable which goes from Motor A2 to F&R bypassing the controller. That it's - and if you did it this way, as I did my first time, be sure to put a ton of electric tape on the bolt so it doesn't short out... better to just get a longer cable or a whole fresh set if you are upgrading the control
