Since the old 1314 programming station prog ( Version 3.12 ) became common out on the web , Curtis updated to a newer version the 1314 programming station ( version 4.2.* ) and embedded some code so as to require the end user to have a specific Curtis USB lead, the 1309.

So you should be able to use either program ..
The older 1314 with one of the USB leads suggested on this thread ...OR .. the newer program with a Genuine Curtis 1309 lead.

Note that the 1309 lead should be OEM as it sets the access level.

I see no reason why not ... other than perhaps the OLD 1314 software perhaps not containing relevant updates for a later controller... try it.

I should perhaps ask why you haven't tried?

woody I had the simulation mode up yesterday it was for a wheel chair , mc-2, other options were serial and enhanced serial ? when I get it all hooked up will it read my controller? george

first option's were user,service,dealer oem, other's were in simulation

I can only say that it should read your controller and the mode should be serial or enhanced serial...the MC2 / Q-Logic wheelchair controller talks via a CANBUS interface..
