Default Ezgo txt bass tube install

Thought I’d post some picks of my bazooka tube install.
I was having a hard time determining if an 8 inch tube would fit under the rear basket. It does and fits like a glove. Took a little fenagaling to get it in there, you have to loosen the bolts for the roof holder thingy and take the front seat back off.
I know the wiring is a mess right now, need to pick up some wire loom and clean it up.

For some reason I can only get one photo to attach. I’ll try again later.

It’s a subwoofer. You know, make the boom boom in the music.
They are pretty much the leader in marine applications.
This one is the 8 inch marine grade version version.

Interesting. That's why there aren't any of those in my neighborhood. I hear that is still popular in the cities. In our neighborhood boom boom is target practice on Sunday afternoon.

Good job squeezing it in there. Looks like a tight fit.

Nope, it’s an old fashioned woofer and needs an amp.
You could add a Bluetooth receiver to the amp if you wanted. I just use cheap radios that have Bluetooth already, you can get them for $20
But I do understand some people don’t like radios in the dash.

Had a pair of 8s in my Celica GT hatchback in my younger years that did really well. Had roughly 100 watts going to each one from a class D amp. Would throw an sp meter to 130 dB pretty quick.

I believe they do make those with an amp built in for marine as well.

They do have ones with built in amps. The beauty of these for marine and golf carts is that they only use about 100 watts each so they use very little juice for good sound compared to a lot of other speakers.
