Default Carryall 232 Speed Sensor Fault/ Anti tamper Fault

Hi, its Jörn here from germany

In germany golfcarts are not that common like in the usa or in many other countrys. It was coincidence that the company i working for sold one and then got more and more customers interresting for it.
So i´m a "cartboy" (i saw that designation here some time) since about two years now. We do a lot of Club Cars but also other brands like EzGo, Yamaha, Melex etc.

Now i have a big problem with a Carryall 232. The Customer brang it to us and told us that its not driving fast enough and it beeps all the time when its not driving, like you would tow it (But we dont tow it, it just standing still).

And thats exactly what it do. Fault codes are: Anti Tamper Fault and Speed sensor fault. Also i can see rpm´s the controller takes but the vehicle isnt moving. Okay i thought the first time, i just have to replace the Speed Sensor. But the faults are still there. I tried alot till now. Replaced the engine for test, replaced the potentiometer, replaced the controller, replaced the speed sensor several times. I also replaced the Maincoil. Nearly everything. But the faults dont gone.

What can i do next? Change the whole harness?

Would be nice if you have some ideas.

Wow, I would have said Speed Sensor and then controller, but since you did both of them and also all the rest, I really have no I idea except a faulty harness showing a ground or fray sending false signals.....

Have you tried calling Club Car's customer service and asking for their advice? It could be a problem they have seen and if it is a newer cart may have a warranty.
