Default Cushman Titan

I have a Cushman Titan that I have been trying to rebuild for several months now. Had the controller repaired, then put in a new battery charger and once that was done it I found the motor had some issues, bad brushes so I replaced them. There was some obvious pitting where the brushes look like they arced and I smoothed them as best I could. Everything turned freely so I thought it was ready to go. Wrong, it would barely move and after about 10 feet there was a loud buzz and a puff of smoke from the engine and that was it.

So not I have a rebuilt motor but the sensor that went into the end of the motor did not survive being taken out. Any ideas what it's called and where I can get a replacement. I pray once the motor is in and the sensor is in the thing will run as it should.

What year is your Cushman Titan?

As JohnnieB posted in your July thread on your Titan, have a look at the attached Titan Service Parts Manual. On Page F-15, you should be able to identify that part as the Speed Sensor.

When I got it I was told 2010, identifying markings are worn off. I put the motor in to see if it would work without the speed sensor. Solenoid clicks but it won't move. It's flashing 3 yellow then 5. Looking at 1268 fault codes 35 is Auxilary driver off? Auxilary coil shorts or defective controller?? I see no listing for Auxilary coil, are they meaning the solenoid? The manual does not give much guidance.
