Default Shut off switch for switch panel?

I went the separate 12V marine battery with fuse block route. I have a 6 gang led switch panel that’s daisy chained together. So obviously my voltage is limited. My plan is to separate (2,2,3) (30A, 30A, 30A) and run to fuse block. My issue is my led panel stays lit. What is the best way to shut it off when not using? Run through ignition? Shut off toggle switch? Or is there an easier route that I’m missing?

Don't forget you need to run both positive and negative wires from each separate "gang" of switches to the fuse panel.

You can either use a toggle switch or install a relay activated by the key switch to automate the process of disconnecting the meter and/or "gangs" of switches:

Ok. I’m not familiar at all with those relays. How can I run a toggle to shut the whole panel down?

Just add the heavy duty switch between the auxiliary battery positive post and the fuse box positive input.

Thank you and please pardon my electrical ignorance. So it's just as simple as using a snap splice connector in between aux battery and fuse block? Then run toggle switch negative to battery negative post?

Put the switch on the positive side.

Wire goes from Battery positive to toggle switch then from toggle switch to fuse box.

The main negative wire can go straight from the battery to your common negative bus-bar.

Some fuse boxes have a common negative bus-bar connection or you can also use a separate one if your fuse box only handles the positive connections.

Use a 40 amp switch and add a 40 amp fuse close to the battery positive post where you are going to connect the wire that goes to the toggle switch.

The positive wire from battery to toggle switch, toggle switch to fuse block and negative wire from battery to negative buss-bar should be 8ga to allow for 40 amps..

Ok. Thanks a lot Sergio. I’ve already ran 10ga but I do need 8?
