Let's talk fuel pumps. I'm still running an EZGO fuel pump.

I put in the adjustable main jet today, which is making no sense on how its behaving. Seems to be affecting the intermediate area for some reason. When I crank it out, it almost acts like its starving.

I'm keeping up with Predator 420s, but I feel like I should be walking on them. Not sure what I'm missing. I'm happy with the 460 overall, but maybe its no better than the 420 hemi I just replaced.

Its a TXT, 28" Super Swamper Vampires. Its a lot of meat to turn over, but still. We're literally neck and neck out of the hole and top speed is identical.

I wanna go fast. (Ricky Bobby)

Adjusting the main jet should be done with the engine running. Get it warm to hot - put the front bumper against something solid and jack up the rear till the tires are off of the floor.
Rev the engine to about 2500 rpm and hold it there -- turn the main jet clockwise and close it -- till it wants to stall -- then turn it counter-clockwise and open it till it starts to flood -- while your doing this you have a "sweet spot in the middle where it revs right up to a high speed. This is where the main jet is properly adjusted. If it runs a little flat at high speed open 1/8 turn more.
