Ezgo 48 volt cheap Delta Q charger modified to work on little RED.

I took it a part and put a new cord with SB-50 connector on it. It's working fine.

Brought little red coupe home yesterday to finish the front axle swap. I stopped at Graham golf carts in Myrtle beach SC on the way home and somebody took these while I was inside. I have no idea who it was. They posted them on face book.
They posted it looked like a stock motor and setup.

Thumbs up Re: Little red!

I got a axle for $50.00 used but in good shape. He even took it off the junk cart for me. I brought it home cleaned it up and will paint it tomorrow and maybe start taking the old one off. I did jack it up and put stands under it.
The guy has 100's of parts laying every where. He has about 30 marathones just sitting with all kinds of parts, chargers, seats back seats windows everything.

Question Re: Little red!

Well the axle is about 8" to short. I guess I will try bending the old one back in a press and see how straight I can get it. I got the old one out and placed them side by side. I was surprised at the difference. I guess they welded it then grounded it off to look stock. I can't see any sign of a weld though. Maybe a different model cart axle anybody know.

Why don't you cut the parts off the axle tube and make a new one? You can choose what thickness steel to use and maybe it won't bend so easily.

Could you go back to where you got it with both to try to find one that would work?

Or make a jig to weld up your own?

I took the old one and put it in the press and it's 99.9% back straight. I'm going to go with it for now. It looks dang close so it should be fine. I hope anyway.
