2010 Emerge stops at half fuel gauge
I think the cart stops to soon, if it dips near 1/2 on the guage, it stops and you wait till it goes back up and the cart runs again. Is there a setting that can be changed to so it will continue to run.

Forget the gauge, chances are you have a battery dropping out and the gauge wont pick that up.

Re: 2010 Emerge stops at half fuel gauge
Those LED bar gauges are actually empty at 1/2 and oftentimes don't reset either. They're there to look cool but relying on them to give SoC status will end up costing you a controller or motor one day.
Tomberlins do use Curtis controllers (the one saving grace of these cars) and yes, you can lower the low voltage cutoff threshold (you actually get write permissions to every setting on these for some reason, even with a lower access level) but this will do more harm than good. The cutoff is there to save the controller and motor. Low voltage creates heat under load and melts stuff. See also: TXT DCS controller failure due to no low voltage protection. |
