The only real modification that needs to be done,is to lower the side-rails that the seat sits on about 1"You will see the step in the TXT-Body where this will interfere if not dropped. My cart is now over 4yrs.old,Big-Blocked and still going strong!

I bought an old clunker and the guy thought it was around a '94 marathon. His idiot son spray painted the whole machine and now i cant find a serial number to find out what exactly it is. Any suggestions. i would like to start rebuilding it but cant order parts without knowing that info.

Have a request for pachanga90. I'm new to the forum...doing a body swap on an 83 marathon. Those pictures would be really helpful if you still have them. Thanks.

This post has new life again! I’m doing the swap on a 89 Marathon and your information is real helpful! Any other updates would help too I’m sure.

This original thread is over ten years old, but I was really excited to see it pop up.

@Pachanga90 - I would love to see a build thread on your cart. Really interested to know what your big block conversion looks like. What rear did you use? How much lift did you have to do?

So how bad is the swap for the rear of the cart from Marathon to TXT? Any pointers of guidance?

Here is my 1992 Marathon with a 2007 TXT Body, front and rear. Purchased the body, painted as is, at Liquid Lenny's Customs in Clearwater FL. https://www.liquidlennys.com/

As someone mention before, its pretty straight forward. The rear section is almost a direct swap after you trim the metal body height at the seat area.

The front will require cutting some of the frame at the glovebox area. Just start small and keep cutting a little more off at a time.

I also got sick and tired of the Marathon front steering so, I ripped it all out, and installed a 2010 TXT front end (with true rack and pinion) in it. What a difference !! This is almost a direct bolt on as well. Keep the Original front springs, a new hole will need to be drilled in them about a half inch closer to the end. Drilling those 2 holes in spring steel was a bitch ! Advice ... go slow and have extra drill bits !
