97 carryall lift kit
Hello all
My question is I am working on a 97 carryall and I would like to put a 6 inch lift kit on it. But most of the lift kits online say they will not fit carryalls. From what I have researched a carryall is just a stretched standard DS. I’m guessing most of the problem is because they have four wheel drum brakes. If I change the front hubs two standard DS steel capped hubs and modify the rear brakes I should be able to use a standard DS lift kit? Any input would be great. Thanks Ellis |

Re: 97 carryall lift kit
It is currently a low rider. The front leaf springs are flipped over and 2 inch lowering blocks in the rear and I’m getting tired of only being able to drive on the pavement.

Re: 97 carryall lift kit
You can go with a Jake's Club Car DS / Carryall Long Travel Kit W/ Mech Brakes (Fits 1992-Up) or a Jake's 6 Inch Spindle Lift Kit W| Mech Brakes - 1981-+Up Club Car DS | Carryall depending on budget and availability

Re: 97 carryall lift kit
I appreciate the info. I just purchased the a arm lift kit for a DS and it bolted right on. I just remove the front brakes.
Thanks |
