G1 No Spark(New Member)
Hi All,
I have a bit of a issue with my G1. I just overhauled the engine, and it ran great for about 200 ft,then it just stopped. I figured out that I lost my spark. I did some trouble shooting and I'm only getting 1.2-1.4 volts from the cdi box to the ignition coil. Does this sound like a problem with the cdi box or maybe the stator coil and trigger? Thanks for any help. |

May be a bad coil. Check the little orange wire going to the coil to see if it is broken.

Thats the wire that I mentioned I'm only getting 1.2-1.4 volts from. Should it be closer to 12 volts to trigger the coil?

I'm not sure on the exact voltage and I don't have the manual for this model. I know someone here will have that info.
