Default Converting old resister Club Car to lithium

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I bought some G1 leaf batteries for my old Club car DS. I got 15 of them to get somewhwere around 38 volts. They said they're 40ah so if I understand these batteries I could configure them 10s3p or only use 14 and go 48 volts with 14s2p. The more I read through these threads I'm starting to think I'd be better off going 48 volts. I'd really appreciate some advice on this.
