Briggs 18HP twin rebuild?
Ive got a 1984 Briggs 18HP twin in a lawn tractor that started smoking this year. I was wondering if there were any parts available for these, as in rings and pistons. Most of my experience is in bikes and usually when they start smoking you do a slight overbore to the next size piston but I am not sure if this is possible or not with this motor. Is this an option? are the parts available?

you can rebuild this engines very cheap. is it a opposed twin?

Yes it is the opposed twin. is there any slight over bore pistons available?

you can still mod the opposed twin. just not as much as a v-twin
