Project Build Yamaha G-16 with Big Block , Long Travel and 26" Swamp Fox
Here's a few pics of a build that I have been working on. It is still a long way from being done.
Cart started out as a 1999 Yamaha G-16 gas from a industrial plant with heavy use. Pretty much everything that could wear was past worn. Planned options are: ITP SS108 black with 26 x 12 x12 Swamp Fox Plus Jakes Long Travel with additional length shocks on rear for 8" front lift and 10" of rear lift. 24 hp Honda BB High Speed gears with posi-traction Custom Roll Cage with rear seat. Body is having all holes filled. and more. |

More pics and here is a link to photobucket for more photos.
Replaced both front side supports for front cowl. I dropped and flipped swing arm mount 4".(Which was not enough). |

Long Travel Installed
Rear shocks are from Carparts.com cost $58.00 a pair shipped and suppose to be rated at 700 lbs a pair. After installed cart leaned with one person on it. So came up with another plan. |

Possible shock solution and additional 4'' drop to swing arm. If I keep shocks this way I will have to get or build some spacers for shocks and possible add some additional supports.
Once cart is frame work is completed, it will be torn back down for painting. |
