Re: Resistor to controller
My power cord went out on my laptop so I haven't kept up with cart news. I sent my controller back to Logisystems and they found where the epoxy in the case seal had failed, allowing moisture to enter. I never had my cart off the pavement with the controller installed, but anyway they told me they completely replaced everything inside the casing including some new updated parts that just recieved. So I am headed to camp today and will see if it works.
I asked for a new controller from them, and they called me and said they would replace everything inside but the aluminum casing cost them a lot of money, so they would not replace that. I have to admit again, through all my troubles, Logisystems has great customer service. I would recomennd them to all. But my opinion may change, I'll let ya'll know when controller is reinstalled again.....Mike |

Re: Resistor to controller
Wow, Mike. Logisystems may be the greatest customer service in the world but if I hear of this type problem again I could not recommend them. I bought a controller from them about the same time you did and have not had time to install it as I have since gotten into the gas carts... I sure hope mine is going to work. Good luck with the cart...I know you'll let us know.

Re: Resistor to controller
If the controller comes with a drawing you can use that. Remember you are wiring up a series motor do not get hung up on factory wiring. It is much simpler if you think of it as a series motor. I think Alltrax and Curtis have basic wiring diagrams for series motors on their websites.

Re: Resistor to controller
Sorry about that scotty, but as nate said these are factory stock diagrams. I have a pb-2 pot that came with a diagram, have it installed, not fired it up yet. More wiring to finish. Looks to me like there are different ways to go at this. When you convert, all the micros and the obc are not there. I'm hoping to be succesful here.
