Default Rear Axle Electric EZ-GO

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I replaced the rear wheel bearing on the drivers side. When I re-installed the axle it will not go in all the way. I need another 1/4 inch to put the bearing and outside ring in place. Please help

Are we talking about a wheel bearing at the hub, or an axle bearing inside the axle tube? No race on the axle bearing. Perhaps you didn't press the bearing far enough onto the axle?

Axle has only one bearing on it on drivers side. The bearing either isn't all the way on or the gears aren't matching up inside the rear end. Are you sure there was no internal damage to it?
Something like this maybe.

WOW! 72V with the mud tires?. Had a Mud Truck on 42" tires that would twist driveshafts or do that or worse to axles. Gotta love torque

Not at all. If you really need it you can have them heat treated or cryo treated. That being said, there are things in the pipe but as with any new product developments come the need for money to do it.

Yea Titianium or how ever you spell it. I can't afford that though. These last 3 axles have been Ezgo 's not aftermarket's. The orignal one lasted 3 years of hard playing these haven't last 6 month each.
