98 Club Car DS will not go

I was driving up a river bank this weekend(done it 50+ times this summer ) in my golf cart and it stalled at the top of the bank I pressed the brake to stop the card from rolling backwards but I also kept the gas down for some reason. I finally let the cart roll back down to the bottom of bank then I tried to put it in forward again it would not move and then reverse and it would not move. It seems to have a slight shutter/shake but will not move.

Any ideas or thoughts on what happened?

Could it be a transmission or a pin of some sort I don't have a clue. Is this something I could fix myself or will I need to take to a shop?thoughts are more than welcome
