Re: Anyone get their cart Florida Street Legal?
Doug, you can't imagine how good it feels to complete this LSV task which started around 2 months ago. The easy part is getting the cart ready with what they require. The hard part is getting over the red tape they put in front of you, (Weight Station, DMV and Tax Collector took more time then installing the parts, including the motor!)

Re: Anyone get their cart Florida Street Legal?
So where is everyone else who was big on getting their cart Street Legal? I know that Extractor has his gears in with a new motor. BSR has been missing in action for quite some time. So anyone else doing theirs or got it done?

Either way it's DONE! Thanks for your help and guidance once again. Now I'll have you know that those little "Magnetics" are the love's of my life, "Caesar" dogs like in the commercials and originate from Ireland, West Highland Terriers. We found them through Westie Rescue when they were 7 and 6. Nikki is 12 and Willie is 11. AND THEY LOVE CART RIDES!!!!! |

Re: Anyone get their cart Florida Street Legal?
Any ideas if any bill of sale will work? I bought my cart from my old employer that used it to drive patients around and they got it from somewhere about 6years ago...no idea where it was originally purchased from...any ideas???

They need a Bill of Sale showing that the main part of an Assembled from Parts vehicle, (what your future LSV will be,) was purchased legitimately, (without any possibility of being stolen, etc.) A hand written sheet of paper without being witnessed or notarized more than likely won't fly either. |

Re: Anyone get their cart Florida Street Legal?
So a notarized invoice from a business should do...right?

Re: Anyone get their cart Florida Street Legal?
THere's a bill of sale template a couple pages earlier in this thread. Print it out, fill it out, and have someone sign it. Done. Sounds like your notarized invoice may work if they identify the cart correctly (serial number on it?)
