Default New to the site. Heres my "general lee" club car build

Hi guys my name is Rob. I am from northern ky ( right be Cincinnati) I have a camp on the river on the Ohio side and everyone has golf carts all done up and I had to get in on the action. My fiance's family has a pink lifted golf cart that is margaritaville themed and I decided I wanted to have a themed cart as well. Being a huge dukes fan I always wanted a general lee. I figured I would do somthing original and make the golf cart be a general lee. After some research I found a bunch that had been done up before as the general but I havent seen any around here so I didnt mind copying some of the ideas I found.

Paint is "hugger orange" the original paint code for the general was somthing like hemi orange and it was a 3 stage which was more work and money that I wanted to put into the project.

The cart is a 2002 club car DS 36v. Jakes lift kit installed by the previous owner. He said the kit is a 7" lift and 24" tires which seem to be pretty new. Here are some pics of the process. I will post more pics as I take them. Any suggestions or input is certainly welcome!

when I went and picked the general up it looked like this

So after a few days I had to start ripping him apart.

ready for paint

Welcome to BGW xander!

It's a cool cart you got going there!
But, what you should do is... post your build in the "members rides" section:

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/members-rides/

That way you can ask questions, (if need be) and get them answered, without it getting "buried" in the intro section!

Here's an EZ-GO General Lee...

Oh yeah... and don't forget the CB!

Is there a way a mod could move this for me? I don't want it buried. That cart looks cool I like the doors.
