Default Diamond plate floors and rivets

Has anyone use a diamond plate floor? Do you still need to use the thin metal floor that is riveted to the frame or can i toss it when I get my floor cause its in bad shape. Also where is the best place to get the rivets I'm going to need to put my body back together with? Do EzGo dealers sell a kit or is it cheaper to get them some place else?

I believe those kits were intended to go over the metal thats already there, I can't think of any reason why you couldn't just use it as a replacement if it's thick enough.
I pretty sure Tungpo1 can get you those rivet kits, that's who I would ask.

I never used one but Im sure ruredy is right. I used diamond plate but It was 1/4inch which I know is thicker then what those are. I fipped it so the diamonds would face underneath and then I added a rubber diamond plate mat for the top.

The metal on it now is thin and got rust spots in the corners that i cleaned it up and sprayed undercoating on to protect it. I need to get a rivet kit, im going to call the ezgo dealer that 20 mins from my house and see what they charge for one. I should have the air bags for the front this week and then thats done and all I'll have to do is do the plumbing for it and then its body work time.

The diamond plate should be thick enough. Add a couple of braces if you think it's goiong to sag in spots.

I'm not worried about sagging cause the factory floor is a 1/16 of a inch thick if I use diamond it should be thicker then that I hope.
